Lord you have saved my ancestors from the past and gave us another chance.
But now, time and again, we have fallen to our sinful ways in our lives.
Please forgive us and show me the light. Tell me how to shine my little light.
Give me the new light; strength and power in my future, to let the whole world know that you’re there coming to take your children.
Lord you gave a goal for us.
That goal, you gave me and to everyone – some are not done yet. Help your workers to live long and spread your love to everyone. Give the chance to all of us to complete our goals. Amen!

His father’s note: Some time ago, I told my eight-year-old son to write a short letter to God. And, the above prayer is what he had written down in his notes.
After a week or two he also told me that another letter may follow but he is contented with this letter for now. For, he had talked his heart out by what he wants to say to God.
