Inside my heart I’m dancing,
When my Savior gets magnified.
The world’s tried thrashing me,
Yet I’m saved in Your grace.
Re-affirmed; my faith in you.
Being saved by you, I’m glad.
Now I dance the faith-dance
Join me dancing amidst the storm
Our Savior had freed and guides us;
Shedding our fear through faith.
Faith-dance – it’s a privilege!
Faith-dance – in the blood of Christ!
Redeemed for eternal peace.
Come now; let’s do the dance as an entity.
I’m dancing with the little faith I had
A gift from God; connecting me to Him
A preparation for my dancing;
In the glory of my Savior, that day!
I saw people dance in faith;
Though their outward’s pained.
And you encourage me too.
In the name of Jesus is the power.
Hold onto him in your faith
Afflictions turn into dance, He said.
He’ll make my feet like the deer,
He’ll enable me to tread on the heights.
I can’t see all His plans yet.
Dance in the heap of tears
And I’m dancing in my heart.
Faith-dance – it’s a privilege!
Faith-dance – in the blood of Christ!
Redeemed for eternal peace.
Come now; let’s do the dance as an entity.
I’m dancing with the little faith I had
A gift from God; connecting me to you
A preparation for my dancing
In the glory of my Savior, that day!

Do you feel bounded in life?
Sing with joy and dance in faith
The chains will break anytime soon
Cling onto your faith in Him,
Your dance with Him is near
In His name is a reason to rejoice.
My hearts pounded; lips quivered
My legs trembling; rejoicing
At the sound of your Name.
Yet humbling yourself for me
To called you, as my Father!
Faith-dance:
We received salvation through our faith, which our faith itself is a gift from God. The world is a stage for us actors or players with faith being our only weapon. Now, “faith is a confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.” (Hebrews 11:1 NIV)
I don’t know if it’s the right word to used faith-dance in describing another form of faith in work. When you are not hopeful that the coming days won’t bring relived from your current trouble; but still you confided your heart in the Lord.
And as you’re about to sleep, you faith in the Lord makes you smile, may be outwardly or inwardly, because you know that God will take care of your situation, you are dancing in faith. That heavenly peace, attained by you, at least for a moment is really worth it.
Staking own Life in Faith:
David was known as a man of faith. The giant Goliath was beyond his match in any aspects. But his faith in the Lord becomes the deciding factor of this famous fight. (1 Samuel 17)
He was raw: no experiences in the battle field nor with the uses of battleground weaponry. His brothers were not wrong in trying to dissuade him in his decision. But it became his first great experience of the work of faith in his life.
What he did was staking his life because of his faith in the Lord. And as we know, David defeated the giant Goliath with the help of God. Looking from his side it was a pure work of faith. It was his first hand experience that God was capable of working powerfully for his people.
This experience further strengthened his faith in the living God. And it makes him see the faith-dance and song of the women of the town after his victory in his very own eyes.
Paul and Silas’s Faith-dance:
About midnight, Paul and Silas were praying and singing in the inner cell of the prison with their feet fastened in the stocks. Now, as the other prisoners were watching, a violent earthquake shakes the foundation of the prison.
All the prison doors flew wide open at once, and everyone’s chains came loose at the steps of their faith in God. For others it’s life threatening, but for them who recognized the work of God, it becomes a good time to save others as well – their soul and body. (Acts 16:16-40)
In their hard times, these faithful servants of God still do the faith-dance even in the weirdest situation. Faith-dance may not demand beautiful steps but beautiful hearts devoted towards our Savior.
In the end, faith-dance stem out from the heart. It’s more of a personal achievement which nourished our living. It can be asked and attained in the abiding grace and mercy of our Savior – a privilege of having faith in the living God!
Love this. Thanks for encouraging me. God bless! Love this concept of faith-dance:
” When you are not hopeful that the coming days won’t bring relived from your current trouble; but still you confided your heart in the Lord.”
Thank you for stopping by. Faith-dance – we dance best in the pool of sufferings!
