Let her live

Put it down now
Hold your breath
Now hold your fire
Don’t pull the trigger now
Unload it, stay low
Let’s enjoy the peace
#
The morning sun
Rising in the back
We’re waiting for the sun
On this foggy morning
She looks beautiful
As she faced our side
White fur clean as ever
##
Let her live
Don’t let her die
I won’t pick her up
Even if you shot her down
She’s valued just like us.
Don’t create a furore
Don’t disrupt the peace
Of the morning calm
Every living woke up
Happily to a new day
###
O the white-breasted bird
I want to see you fly
I want to see you soar
Up, up, up in the sky
Enjoying the breeze of life

Let her sing, let her chirp
We heard her sing today
Tomorrow we may not.
Who knows what it holds
Let’s live today, Let her live
We all live under the same sky

Memories

My childhood days in the countryside have witnessed closeness to nature and creatures irrespective of their importance in our eyes.
On a foggy morning, we would wait for the sun to warm us while letting the cattle graze through the treat of dew and sweetgrass in the early morning. In the scenic grassland, we spent our time with numerous species of birds in the trees or sky and crawlers on the land.
We often carry an air gun, most of the time using a slingshot or catapult for time timepass and defense in the thick bush. It’s our favorite thing to hunt down.

Healing the Hurting and Broken

God desires that everyone could live in a safe, caring environment where a love for Him is nurtured. But, some experience harmful and damaging situations at the hand of others’ lack of wisdom or outright sins.
Evil often gets the upper hand in this dark world, which isn’t God’s intention. His will is that all choose what is right and do good. God wants to heal the hurting and the broken; He plans to put an end to all suffering and establish new earth with no pain or sadness.

Yellow Leaves

The cold winter is about to end. The yellow leaves are falling to the ground. I can see them falling. It’s just a matter of time they will be blown away. The sweeper’s job or the stronger wind whichever comes first will take them away.
When I woke up in the morning, and as I stand there string out in the open, they’re the first living I saw them. In a few days, they will be gone!
Oftentimes, the Psalmist compares our life to the flowers blooming in the morning yet blown away by the evening wind. The beautiful petals are short-lived as they couldn’t stand the sun, which once was among their source of preparing food.
It applies to our living in many ways: It means our suffering would not be forever for the one who suffers. It also means ending their complete hold over for the riches. The ‘nones’ who do profess to have God but failed to establish a chord of connection through their method would also meet the end soon. By then they will see the real God.

Spread Love and Happiness

At our best, let’s not attack each other but spread lovingly to someone who might not have seen happiness in life. Yet by way keeping it to the work of the spirit to take over their heart.
These days I’m not the best of my health. So, my writing schedule has been affected. I’m in the process of formatting a paperback book about a Christian Dad staying at home. But I hope it will end soon! For all of these, I have Jesus!
Let me reiterate here again that we all are valued and beautiful in the eyes of our Creator.
