I want to be more than me
More than what I am now
I’m confident I can be more
Than what I am now.
The desire itself is a gift
I must appreciate the lift
It has given me each day
And the smile it brought me!
Now I have the realization
That I am more than me
More than what is seen
By the grace descending
Transforming to his heir!
I am more than me!
You made more than me

I am more than me now
In your abiding grace!
Here on my earthly journey
I want to be more than this
Doing more for me and for you
And I feel very limited at times
I wanted to achieve more
Yet the contentment in you
Is the realization more than
What I am now, O my God
You made me enough in you
Being enough is more than me
I’ll never be enough without you
You gave me a face
Even if I have no status
Or fame in this world
I’m more than me
In your grace only
