My Long Lost Poem

Seeking only you for now
Knowing Everything is in you
What a joy living a life
To see your greatness
To feel your love and care
To see the Almighty in work.

Angels kept a guard with sword on me
All your creatures praise you
You gave me a life
To praise you till my last breath.

At times, I was moving away from you
But I know, I can’t, never could I?
You pulled me back lovingly
You are the one my heart seeks
I’m back, I’m yours now
Never would I leave you.

From the sky, you’ve plan
Each and every move of mine.
Every step I’d take is to see
More of your greatness.
You are mighty in deeds
You’ve done everything for me.

Teach me, hold me every day
That I be faithful to you.
When I felt your presence
You melt my heart
Be inside my heart, for I know
You’re the only one my heart desires.

You are my God who sustains my life
Having found by you I need no one….

(Then I look for more notes in my torn paper)

Over and over again
I’m gonna say
I love you.

I can’t deny it
Cos my heart knows
what it needs
And, you’re the one.
Valleys, hills, and mountains
Be it the star, the moon, and the blue sky
They are the witness to my
Unfading love for you.

If I can give you all your needs
Be it anything, I’m gonna give you
To make you feel happy
‘Cos I love seeing you happy.

Always be by my side
For I needed you badly
Your loving words matter to me.

I know I was one step closer now
Dark days may come, my love
To show the brightness of tomorrow.
Oh! what lovely being you’ve been
The beautiful creature you are!

Whatever the twist it may be
We were much closer together.
What a passionate lover you are
I want to feel you each day.

Time had gone by, and I know
It draws me closer to you.
How great it is to win a day
To show you, my love.
With you by my side
I felt completed.

On this lonesome night
I felt I was missing you
I walked down the street
But I can’t find you
I stared at the sky
Only for the moon to remind you.

P.S:

It is much longer than what I have first seen but I think it must be better to knit it together this way. Although I did not want to weave together the words describing my longing for the Lord and my beloved, I make this one exception to weave in here. I called it my long lost poem because it was longer in words and it must be almost two decades old. Well, that’s old for someone in my age.
