Today, I have nothing to say, nevertheless I write this piece. Yes, I have no good or intended to be good message to convey at this moment.
Few days ago, I’m trying to put something out. But, as I revisited my notes, it became too abstract for me remembering the way I wanted to say it to you.
My own handwriting, written in haste, I find it hard to read it. Anyway, some years had passed since writing with my hand was not as smooth as before.
Thinking too much, no not too much, simply attracts migraine. So better take it easy I told myself, because being in pain can be tormenting. But knowing that I was in pain is a blessing as it means I’m awake, fully conscious, and alive.
Saying nothing, sitting dumb in the corner of the room can attract unwanted thought. So, let’s try to say something which makes sense for you and me.
Nothing to say to You:
“I have nothing left to say to you!”
Oh that! Beware if someone says this to you. It may imply them as saying; you’re annoying, self-righteous, or not worth talking to. May be you know it better than me.
It’s something I’m almost used to hearing it a few times before. By the way, we are suppose to be mere listener certain number of times when dealing with people.
But our egoistic heart, or sometimes our insecure heart, makes us say something which is better left unsaid. And some people take note of that completely.
Saying Nothing around:
Saying nothing doesn’t means not loving, not appreciating. Sometimes you say it best when you say nothing. But he who loves says it more often!
We love good compliments, don’t we? ‘You look beautiful today….’ giggles followed. And that’s the way it is.
Saying nothing but spending time together with people can be boring at times. The age of humorist has come. In relationships and interactions people with good humors are preferred. But with loved ones, it usually was a different scene.
Saying nothing, sometimes, sent wrong signals. Some needs to be said rather than showing with actions. Saying nothing means people have more chance to misread your mind.
In many instances, saying or simply uttering a word in the right time and place is rewarding. In the same way, saying something in the most inappropriate timing steals the moment.
Saying Nothing to God:
Now we come to the good part of saying nothing at all. No, it’s not because of pride, sometimes in our gruelling life we just don’t feel it.
When our heart’s troubled, our hopes faint, and our body agonized in suffering we ought to have nothing to say to God.
We don’t know what to say; where to start, how to say, and how to end it. Yet struggling before God, to renew and restore us, and still struggling with words that we might be heard to the Eternal Listener.
Silently, in these times, we can wait for the Lord. (Psalms 27:14)
The Spirit intercedes for us in our weaknesses if we have hearts towards him. (Romans 8:26-27) Sit with him, spend time with him, and his hands will lift us up because he is faithful.
Saying nothing but spending time together with God is always uplifting and beneficial for the soul and the body. By not saying anything to God, we see more of Him and His works. Trusting and waiting on the Lord yields good results.
Say Nothing For Now:
Say nothing for now;
Wait for the right time.
Say nothing my heart;
Lest I curse myself.
Say nothing my mouth,
Lest I’d utter bitterly.
Say nothing in your frail,
Lest you break your heart.
Say nothing my soul,
Wait patiently on the Lord.
Say nothing for now,
You’ll sing praise one day. (to the Lord)
