Take me to your place
Hold me, hold me dearly
I’m afraid I will let you go
And if I did, I’d be doomed
Take me to your place
Up above in the sky-high
Or down here on earth
Anywhere we will meet
Take me to your place
Where I will not be balmed
But I’ll be tenderly calmed
Take me to your place
where nobody knows as yet
Yet all l wanted to know
I want to see you there
Yet better with you here
Take me to your place
I’m here writhing in pain
Living there in disdain
###
Take me to your place
Safely marked by your blood
My only claim by your blood
Take me to your place!
Take me to your place
The storm billows o’er me
In your arms, safely hide me
You’re full of compassion
Renewed every morning light
I want to feel you, have you
###
Take me to your place
In your time for eternity
Then, I’ll see your full glory
And you will give me rest
Take me to your place
I’m tired here my God
Take me to your place!
Your Place:
Does it sound depressing? Yes, it might. Some people who were close to me told me not to write much about leaving this earth or the stuff I wrote just now. However, I’ve been there.
It is not a matter of our choice, but to trust in the Lord for his timing. And I know there’d be brothers and sisters who can relate to it, especially who were suffering chronic pain and or disorders.
I know there is a place, which I could only claim by the blood of Christ through his mercy and grace. His place is all over if his presence can be felt anywhere.
Every morning his compassion gets renewed. Therefore, it is better to put hope in him. A few weeks had passed since I desperately wanted to be calmed by his presence. God bless you all!
