why are we so greedy!

Feelings, it’s made for all.
Why let down other’s beliefs
Some act like animal’s reliefs
Never bother about others
Even if it hurts our fellow beings
Why is the world so greedy!

Friends, we get lost in the moment
At a crucial time to share our view
Then the chance no longer comes by
When you have nothing to share
Why are they so greedy!

As time goes by, we gain experience
And you know the world is fast growing
Our imagination runs wild; reach a mile.
But still, why are we so greedy!

You may be religiously obsessed;
I do blame not you for it’s your choice.
But our fanaticism hurt other beings.
Why not use the bright side of religion?
Why are we so greedy about our future!
Why are we so greedy!

The world is not made for a person
The world is not made for a group
No one has supreme rights over others
You cannot give nor take away life
To act like mindless creatures,
Why are we so greedy!

We’re simply natural settlers
Yet grabbing all lands selfishly
We’re natural fighters for survival
Yet we crossed our limits at times
Our care for others was fading
Why are we so greedy!

About the Note:

As per the given year, it is again one my lost notes or poems. I did remember the exact scene which prompted me to write it. Yet the reasons are aplenty.

There were certain and diverse issues coming into my mind.
Today, I put it out for a reason which rock our existence. Greed is the root cause of all the problems surrounding me as a normal citizen of a free country and a pose an existential threat to my community.

Let us accept that we all were greedy, at least once for economic growth and survival. We do forget real people exist other just us. They were not simply hands and tools with no feelings and emotions.

Greed:

At the back of a greedy leader lies a oozing blood. The scar of the pain will last for generation. Yet nothing lasts forever in this world if we try yo make a better world.

Some leaders sold out their own people, they keep mum or speak only for themselves to avoid the puddle of the mud. Human minds is easy to play even with the empty promise of their wants. What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul? Matt. 16:26

Peace and love is the greatest of all, we were reminded. Then, let us give peace a chance so that young men and women might find love when romance is in the air.

I saw young men falling, I saw young women falling before bullets at a time they should be enjoying. Greed has come to haunts us over and over again. It is in this greed, we have uttered ill-suited words. We have sold our faith although few men standing tall in the face of trials and temptations. For, temptations does not reveal itself before its too late.

Why are we so greedy?

Let us give harmony a chance, make way for each other; respecting and honoring one another in the eyes of the Lord.

The worshippers of the Living God must strive towards shunning greed, which is the cause evil and unwanted consequences. However, let us also remember mankind will somehow work together for the fulfillment of the words of God. Whose side should we be in the days to come? Greed is something we were borned with, but it can be controlled in the least by the power of the Holy Spirit.

The ways of everyone who is greedy for unjust gains takes away the life of its possessors. Prov.1
