You are not alone

###
You are not alone
when we face uproars in our way
And, I am not alone either.
When we struggle being together
At least for a minimal time
The almighty is always with us

###

When we met in the bylanes of M
Our walks and our talks there
Naysayers would like to know
I never thought we’d be together
Happy for all the good years we spent
You know me best, dear wife

Maybe too much for you
You can’t embrace it at once
You made me who I am today
From the day we shared our bed
I felt sorry, at times, you’re the one
Who works at the drop of your sweat

###

You are not alone; we are not alone
His hand holding us, guiding us
We’re never alone in our journey
Hold me close to never let me go
I’ll hold you close to my best
We’ll make one family under God.
And to see a new day to love your more
In this big world, we found us

###

Now our journey turns out this way.
Our children miss you each day
They wish you at home each day.
And, at times, love just isn’t enough
You and I understand that too.
In the hands of the almighty.

###

I hope we’ll be together for long
Without you, a day has no sunshine
Your big smile shouldn’t be weaning
It’s the last thing I want to see
Even in the hospital bed
Your prayers are our night light.

For the small family, God gave us
Let’s be happy today my dear wife
We lose many yet we have more
In the loving arms of the Lord.

Today is my wedding anniversary, so I wanted to take this moment to post a short poem that I had written a year ago. I give myself a break from my mainstream subject. However, not diverging too much as it’s about living and my family.

In the year 2016, we spent our anniversary inside the hospital. As I looked back on the photos I have realized the blessings of the Lord for bringing us this far. In the brevity of life, and being very delicate once we wanted to go strong, the Lord becomes the source of our joy and strength.

This year  I’m planning to release a book based on my journal as a husband, a Dad-at-home, and my time with our children after I resigned from my banking job.
