Forsaken

The time has come now
Enough of them suffering
I had seen them helpless.
Then his body turn crimson red
Blood and sweat shed for them
They need deliverance
With the father by his side
He endures the torture

“Eli, Eli,
Lema sabachthani?”
“My God, My God,
Why have you forsaken me?”
He is bearing all my sin;
He is dying for my sake.

##
Here on the cross
I’m suffering for them
I’m praying for them.
Forgive them, Father
Free them of their sin.

###
Forsaken for me is he
It is for you and me
Never to be forsaken again
Your blood cleansed me
Your love set me free.

Now, forsaken is the most dreadful word to hear. Forsaken is the most dreadful situation to be in. Jesus Christ is forsaken in his darkest hour he spent his time here on earth. He is forsaken for my sake yet he never forsakes me. He knows the pain of being forsaken. The cross; a bridge between God and mankind! (Matthew 27:16, Mark 15:34, Psalms 22:1)

“And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever— the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you.

“I will not leave you”

I will not leave you as orphans; will come to you. Before long, the world will not see me anymore, but you will see me.Because I live, you also will live.

On that day you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you. Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love them and show myself to them.” (John 14:16-21)

The more I feel forsaken; the more time I can spend with Him!
