The son fled several times.
Like any young son, he’s impatient;
He’s self-occupied, but for good reasons.
His father loved him deeply, as always.
His returned brought joy to the father.
He fell in the hands of bad counselors.
He wanted to overthrow his father.
“Deal gently for my sake with the youngman.”
Yet he was killed in good chance.
The father’s heart was broken.
His father, the king, wailed:
“O my son Absalom-my son, my son
If only I had died in your place!
O Absalom my son, my son.”
You’re worth more than that!
(2 Samuel 16, 17, 18)

And that’s the love of every father.
The Father, our God, who sent His son,
Jesus Christ to die on the cross.
He doesn’t want us to perish.
2.
Now, “Father, give the portion of my goods that falls to me,” requested the younger son, of a certain man. And his father did.
The younger son was on a journey.
He wasted his possessions soon enough.
In the faraway country, there’s no help.
He was far from his family.
There was a famine in that land.
He began to be in want.
He became a citizen of that famine land,
Lest, he would starve to death.
He was sent to work in fields.
He fed the swine to earn penny;
Yet his hungry stomach never filled.
And no one gave him anything.
The riches and goodness of home;
And his father struck him once.
It’d be better than perishing here.
“I’ll arise and go to my father.
Father, I’ve sinned – forgive me.
Humiliation will not kill me;
But my sin and hunger can.
And lo! With rejoicing voices,
His father welcomes him;
“My son’s dead and alive now!”
(Luke 15)

Humility earned him son-ship, once again, in his father’s house. (The Prodigal Son)
Unceasing Love:
It is the unceasing love of God. A love; so true, which is richly available to all who approached Him in the name of Jesus Christ.
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)
Today, in this world, our father(s) can’t give us all our desires. But they can teach us the way to heaven, as my late father did.
Some people thought their father (s) are under-performing, but I hope it would serve them good in the long run. It is because our God misses nothing.
From the Father:
Words coming out from the Father are binding. The Heavenly Father has made certain Covenant with men for the good of their descendants in the long run. He never shy away from His people.
We don’t know our father’s love; we rebel, we fled, we wanted freedom – living on our own. But our loving father in heaven, and on earth, is waiting us for our return.
At some point in my life too, let’s be real, I thought my father’s advises for me isn’t practical. But only time tells that it might be more practical, as he is my agent between me and God. It was an option he’d offer with prayer.
In the same way, we’re confident and we think we don’t need help, but we’re lost. So, our loving Father sent His son to deliver us!
The Father who abides with us:
When Father’s Day around the corner, children who no longer have father, missed their father. It is my prayer that God speaks to you in your heart, as the loneliness is beyond anyone could describe.
Heavenly Father knows our every situation. The person who put trust in Him despite every situation is a blessed person.
Above all, we have a Father in Heaven who abides with us in the Holy Spirit!
