What does life hold?

What does life hold for me?
I have often wondered what life truly holds.
Is it worth holding onto it?

The answer is a simple and tongue-tied YES and a NO, it’s a rollercoaster ride.
Before I go on further, I want to list out some of them for comparison.

1. I have my family intact – not because of my ability to manage, but because they did not desert me nor did God take them away from me.

2. I did not have a regular or steady income after I resigned from my pensionable banking job. It was meant to be a game changer for good, which will be known later.

3. I have the privilege of living with a chronic neurological disorder, which requires a regular visit to the doctor even after my brain surgery. I have to be cautious at all times.

4. I’m redeemed by the love of God, through the sacrificial death of Jesus Christ on Calvary’s cross. I have eternal life!

5. I have a functioning brain to write this for me and you, although I am prone to miscalculations and agile balancing act in life.

6. I feel the love of my children from time to time. To see them, bless them, chitchat with them, and the occasional disciplining routine is a blessing.

7. The privilege to have a wife who understands all the problems around her. Yet having the zeal to carry on with the added responsibilities in a delightful manner.

8. The secrets and the inexpressible emotions, feelings affected by the slightest of problems, bad news, sounds, and strange intonation of speech around me.

Keeping all these balances and imbalances aside, life holds true for what is good for me and you. We are not the giver nor the planner, no we must plan, but it worked out for the good of us.

I have concluded that life holds good for me. I must fight the good fight till the very end although I know it’s not by my strength.

Unexamined life may appear not worth living, but examining and seeing the little thread of grace that binds our life together always shows a positive response. Then I decided to hold onto the thread of hope.

I will hold onto what I have till the exchange with the crown of life.
