Fifth Blogversary

The idea of blogging was suggested by a friend. It was about two years after I was discharged from the hospital, after my brain surgery and the recovery period. However,  it was followed by frequent admissions and rushing back to the ER, putting me more in danger at times. But I don’t want to limit my living here, I believe there must be more of a better life in my future.

I want to put out how life could take its unexpected turns, which positively affected my living, I would say, through the pain and the embarrassment. My domain name abidings to me means the Savior dwelling/abiding with me Siam, which is my name. So, it means abiding saviour abiding with siam (my name).

Today, I celebrated five years of my blogversary!

And yes, I have written way before that mostly in the field I obtain my Master’s Degree from the University, it’s just that my topic this time has changed, it’s a new life given by the grace of God. If you’re following me you’ll get to know I’m focusing on the renewed compassion of God, which in other words is the faithfulness of God.

It’s a non-profit blog.

It’s a niche for me where I put out my pain and my suffering. In the meantime, I wanted to put hope and self-esteem to someone like me. So, even after I have to resign from my banking job, I can manage to buy or renew my hosting and domain registration in time, although I have to surf the internet for a cheaper yet good service provider, which meets my meagre fund.

Thank you:

I have heard back many times from my readers, which encourages me to go on in my struggle for living.

My special thanks go out to those of you, you know yourselves – I am not mentioning your name, writers, authors, bloggers, anyone around the world who always supported me with your prayers, comments, and likes.

Blogging and me:

This space or blog is one of my very best friends. Sometimes, it’s me talking my mind even in the tiniest jolt to my emotions, which is undergoing tumultuous time over and over again. I understand waiting on God patiently and thankfully is what I must do right now.

In the process, I am also glad to complete some of the free online certificate courses from the Dallas Theological Seminary and Denver Seminary. I do believe, if it’s in God’s will, I might get the chance to complete a degree course in theology. Yet we’re sort of funds right now.

Latest book:

My latest book “From the Sideline” is an excerpt from my journal after I become a stay-at-home-dad. The book is about a chronically ill Christian Dad spending time with his children, while their mother is the sole breadwinner for the family with many role reversals.

My other Books:

My previous book includes – “Unconsumed: In His Abiding Grace” contains the inspiration of this blog, “Walking Outside the Garden” is a collection of essays on the Christian life, and “The Blue Cardigan” is a Fictional Novella inspired by different kinds of fathers I met until now. They are all available on Amazon marketplaces.

On this date, I am really grateful to God for giving me a functioning brain that helps me write. And, also for letting me lead a life as normal as possible.

Yesterday’s a blessing
Today’s a miracle
Tomorrow’s a hope
