I will live on

We’re young, we climb the tree
Up in the hills, we wanted to see
All the big wide world around us
No one ever tied a rope around us.

Walking barefoot in the meadow
Molding our minds using the dough
No one told me to stop dreaming
To overcome the joy of living.

#

Washing my tears with the clothes
It’s just a small step to going forth
No one told me to be discouraged
In your story, it will be just a page
I’m filled with the zeal to live on.

If not now, when will I live?
If not here, where’d I thrive?
In the beautiful meadow of God.
I’ll run, I’ll dive, freely in his care
He always picked me up when I fall
Lending a helping hand to me.

##

When I can’t stand after a meal
He held me up for a quick heal
When I lose control of myself
He is there up on the med shelf
Giving me hand to come alive
Once again in his abiding love

I will live on; I will dream on
I wanted to live; I’ll live on
I have my hope in my God
Little hope yet it sustains me
I’m a dreamer; I’ll dream on
It’s a good time for me to live
It’s a good season to live on.

###

My little faith; is worth a life
I’ll keep holding onto my faith
Each day he’ll renew my life
In the meadow, I’ll walk over
In the sun, He’ll be my cover
I’ll live in his abiding grace
Walking with me in his peace…
