Show me The Way

I’m up till late last night
Sat there in the front porch
Thunders storming as loud
Lightning messing with dark.
#
It’s me trying to find ways
I don’t wanna go wrong twice
Maybe thrice; better not count
I keep staring blankly in the dark.
#
Covered my head; it’s in pain
The comfort of inside missed
I can go back yet I wouldn’t
Or I’d fall back into pain.
#
Someone, please hold my hands
You don’t need to walk me
Just show me the way, please
I’ll try walking on again.
#
Wind gushing through the scar
The scar in my head it’s so cold
I’ll bear it till it’s warmed up
If it’s for finding the way.
#
Someone show me the way
It’s been long I’ve been asking
Pull me out of the dark pit.

Make me happy, if there’s a way
I can’t go back; I don’t want to
From here, move me forward
I’m fine with those pains before.
#
Someone show me the way
I’m in here quite long ago
A new sun warmth the frail;
Dusk mean nearing me to rest.
#
Outta here for good if you may
Pull me out now, with you to go
To the green pastures once again
By your side; you whispering.
#
Set me right, my path, if you may
Lord, only if it’s time for me now
My thoughts and my all; own me.
Then I’ll roam in full confidence.
