Sleeping By Your Grace

Since the final week of 2018, my old laptop slept unexpectedly. But it wake up again, with the help of charitable people, which makes me able to post this. It was unprecedented and it made me worried since it was my only tool in running this site.

Here is a short note on sleep, which I have written during the period:

I Will Sleep Now

Easing my body tonight
I lay my back down on the bed
Soft niches of the blanket I feel
My nerves calming for the day
The day’s gone; can’t redo one
I will sleep now, by Your grace
Hoping my love will still be around

The other day had passed
My body sorely down in pain
I was waiting for it to get over
Without pain, it’s much better
Whispered my lips to none
I will sleep now, by Your grace
Hoping to see more goodness of God

***

It needs getting healed
Strained muscle post-seizure
The running thoughts have to stop
Take it easy take it easy
You are not alone, says me
I will sleep now, by Your grace
Hoping for a better tomorrow

Deserving I may not be
Yet the Lord gives me good sleep
To his son he is merciful
In my dream, I’ll meet him
In the hope of meeting him
I will sleep now, by Your grace
In his care, he’ll wake me up

****

The tides and waves are high
I cannot fight them alone
It’ll passed as I close my eyes
Even though I’ll fight for it
I will sleep now, by Your grace
You will wake me up again

When my journey’s over
I will not know the day before
Yet when I sleep peacefully
I’ll wake up in His presence
Giving rest to my used body
I’ll sleep hoping to get up again.

As I had already wrote a piece titled, ‘the Joy of Sleeping’, I won’t go back on the backstage of my mind.

Sometimes we slumber although we held a good deal of administration and support in the family. The same applies in our workplace as well. It may be unprecedented yet much needed sleep in our journey of life. And, to sleep and had a heavenly dream nourished the mind.

Sleep, truly, is a gift from God; and to wake up even more!
