Toying With Life

You don’t toy with your life, nor can you toy with someone’s life. When we toyed with our life around, we discovered some exciting new areas, except it’s good for the long run. Then, when you toy with someone’s life, you destroy them, or you add a big yoke to their life.

Life, let me put it this way, living a life is good for experimenting since we learn well from experience, mistakes, and good takes. Yet the problem lies in the fact that we only have ONE life. And, we know it’s not just a game, but a preparation for better living here on earth and not losing out on eternal life.

A week ago, I needed to collect some medicine in a follow-up to my doctor’s appointment. While all the procedures were followed by me, the pharmacist somehow denied the prescribed pill calling it a sleeping pill.

The medicine, actually, is my SOS pill prescribed by a Sr. Consultant. The pharmacist posted in that Central Government Dispensary must have been qualified enough to differentiate the medicine and to the extent who were prescribed those types of drugs. I felt toyed around. I did not like it very much. It added to the frustration of being a chronic sufferer.

As far as I’m concerned, I do not remember toying around with customers of the office I have with. It is not a matter of humor or nuisance to deal with someone’s possession and needs. However, it is very common here.

I thought of writing a complaint or expressing my grievances to the concerned Department, but I decided against it. It did not help much.

Toying with life:

It was on that day that I was taken back to my previous perception of toying with life. I have toyed with my life; I took my decisions sometimes out of frustration. My chronic health disorder has added to my anxiety.

In the process, I must have hurt people nearby me, as I have also hurt myself a lot. The direction of my life took a very different turn. One thing is left – I wish I wouldn’t be hurt emotionally or physically in times to come. I try to keep things or matters to myself as much as possible.

Toying with other’s life:

65 days had completed when violence – an ethnic cleansing was carried out in my home state by the majoritarian community in Manipur, India.

The state has a long history of enmity brought about by politicizing anything which might profit the ruling party. The hate speech sounds deep, like never before. Innocent lives were lost. Women and young boys lost their lives.

When power is in the hand of the evil one and the wrong hand, who wants to create history without knowing which way it is going. It is bound to go out of hand.

When someone toyed around with the life of their people with blood in their hand, their fall is near. The day they fall, that day history will remember them as being the villain or perpetrators of all sorts of evil in the green countryside leading to the blue hills where the mountain meets the sky.

All life is precious:

All life is precious – the Creator has created it by himself. But it is the desire of the evil one to destroy them since the very beginning. There is a purpose to everything.

Peace is what we all longed for, but real peace/Shalom has disappeared from the face of the earth since the fall of men. Yet restoration is on the way.

All of us are walking on the path of restoration. Our bags may be heavy, our legs may hurt, and our hearts may sink, but we will read our goal if we cling to the Lord God at all times. The holy spirit will lead us to the right path.

Don’t toy with life:

With the suffering, wars, especially the present crisis in my home state, many were reluctant to speak of their hope in the Lord God. Our sufferings are a spiritual fight. The warring enemy taunting us to call on out God before taking lives.

The creator of life heard the cry of the innocent blood. In his time, God will avenge for the perpetrators of his creatures. We may not see it in out lifetime or the result might not turn out to be what we desire, but the Lord is listening.

Don’t toy with your life nor toy around with other’s. Be honest and sincere before the eyes of God and be honorable in your perception of life. When the spirit guides us through and through, we will move closer towards him.

When life is toyed:

When my life is toyed, it hurts me – no, my ego hurts, my emotions fluctuate. The flow of life has become things of the past dur to my present suffering. People toyed with our life knowingly and un knowingly.

The innocent lives in Manipur, India since the Third of May, 23 has been toyed out of pure greed. Our ways of suffering will differ, but there is only one living God whom we can turn to in every situation.
Thus, we hope better days are ahead, and very near! Just as the Psalmist said, ‘…preserve my life, in your righteousness, bring me out of trouble. Ps.143:11

Preserve my life:

I am laid low in the dust; preserve my life according to your word. I recounted my ways and you answered me; teach me your decrees. Let me understand the teaching of your precepts; then I will meditate on your wonders. Ps. 119:37

Let us make an effort to make a better living for others and ours. And let us not lose our hope in every way of life. We shall not fear as we passes through the storm of life. I have faith in the Lord my God that my life is safe in the hollow of his hand till the storm and thundering lights passes by. I know He is my redeemer and he abides with me as he let me walk my life one step at a time.

I may feel devastated, humiliated, frustrated for all I did not have, but I have him to help me cross over the yonder of life to be with him forever. And when I’m with my Savior, I will feel very much alive and completed in his presence.
