Unfailing Water

The LORD will guide you always;
he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land
and will strengthen your frame.
You will be like a well-watered garden,
like a spring whose waters never fail.
Isaiah 58:11

As I looked into the Word of God for inspiration in the coming year 2021, I am led to these verses. Most of the from them book of Isaiah.

It sounds promising to me, I longed for the unfailing water that comes from God. It will keep me nourished in every season of life.

I will be watered!

That’s a great relief.
Not only that, my longing for water welling out from me will be sufficient to me and my family at first and then next to other believers whom I dearly loved talking to.

I, the LORD, am its keeper; I water it continually. I guard it night and day so no one can disturb it. Isaiah 27:3

Water Springing Up:

But whoever drinks the water I give him will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give him will become in him a fount of water springing up to eternal life.” John 4:14 It is the word of the Son of God in his conversation with the Samaritan Woman. He is offering the water because he knows she needed it just like us.

Whoever believes in Me, as the Scripture has said: ‘Streams of living water will flow from within him.'” John 7:38 This is an invitation to drink the unfailing water from him although the people around him are trying to seize him and his purpose of coming.

Guidance:

Again as we’re ushered into the  New Year 2021, in some our future is bleak as the Coronavirus and the Covid-19 strain looming large and not disappearing soon.

Although the vaccine found till now are supposed to be effective, there’s hardly a straight word about the mutant virus. But one must be positive and not panic nor fear from the upcoming threat. The unfailing water from God will nourish the soul and mind, which would eventually defeat the disease. But one must be alert from more of the threat that comes in the future in a different form.

God will be our counsel; he will be our guide even until death. Psalms 73:24 and Psalms 48:14
For He satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things. Psalms 107:9

Seeking the Water:

The water is easily available to the open heart. Yet there will be times when it seems far away. But that doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist. Sometimes we might need to walk the extra mile and put some effort on our part. In that way, when we get the unfailing water we will feel privileged and appreciate it more. For the unfailing water is no for every dog in the streets but someone who remains faithful to their master.

The poor and needy seek water, but there is none; their tongues are parched with thirst. I, the LORD, will answer them; I, the God of Israel, will not forsake them. Isaiah 41:17

They will not hunger or thirst, nor will the scorching heat or sun strike them. For He who has compassion on them will guide them and lead them beside springs of water. Isaiah 49:10

Rejoicing as one Flourished:

When you see, you will rejoice, and you will flourish like grass; then the hand of the LORD will be revealed to His servants, but His wrath will be shown to His enemies. Isaiah 66:14

Our Lord God declared, “ I have seen his ways, but I will heal him; I will guide him and restore comfort to him and his mourners” Isaiah 57:18

They will come and shout for joy on the heights of Zion; they will be radiant in the bounty of the LORD–the grain, the new wine, the fresh oil, and the young of the flocks and herds. Their life will be like a well-watered garden, and never again will they languish. Jeremiah 31:12

Unfailing Love:

Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love,
for I have put my trust in you.
Show me the way I should go,
for to you, I entrust my life.
Psalms 143:8

And our God, to those who are faithful and believing in him, will surely show us the way we should go. He will not leave us thirsty on the way.

Dear esteemed Readers and Subscribers,

Happy New Year to you all!
May the good Lord keep you
Throughout the coming year!
